As the lockdown has continued, it has been getting harder to adapt to it. Learning online is harder for me than having classes in person, but I have tried to learn to pace myself and come back when things have become challenging.

How has this course changed your outlook on learning? What’s changed? Why? | I was unsure at this point if I would be able to learn a completely new skill and use it to find a new career. The course is paced really well to help guide us through.

When frustration comes up how do you deal with it? What’s your course of action? | Sometimes it takes me a long time to fix issues with my code. If I have tried for a long time and get frustrated I walk away and try again later and sometimes whatever the solution is will come to me. Otherwise, I ask for help.

Why should we teach to the whole person rather than to just a skill set? What benefits are there to this method? | I find the motivational and psychological lessons to be very helpful during this course.

How do you feel about your upcoming project? What do you anticipate while working with a classmate? | I feel good about it, as a lot of the projects we have been doing have led up to this one. As of now I do not have a partner in the project. In order to successfully work with a classmate, we will probably have to communicate well and be very organized.

What benefits will there be to work with someone else? | We will be able to learn from each other, and can support each other to get the project completed.

What challenges could come with this partnership? | Due to the quarantine, we cannot work in person. Communicating through zoom works fairly well but it can have its challenges. Scheduling around each other’s lives might prove difficult. We also may have conflicting ideas on how to create our project.
